It is a great feeling to be writing to you about the government's directive to move to Level 2.
KidzWay will open again on Monday 18 May. While I know some of you will be excited about this move, others may feel apprehensive and cautious. I want to reassure you that we are following the guidance of the Ministries of Education and Health. PLEASE make sure you have read through the information letter sent to you on Wednesday 13 May.
We trust that the lockdown period went well for your family. We look forward to seeing your children and you, as well as hearing about your time during the rahui/lockdown, this coming Monday 18 May. :)

Help with Transitioning Your Child Back to KidzWay
We are aware that this may be a very exciting time for children as they come back to KidzWay, and for some it may be a little overwhelming. Teachers will use all their fantastic skills with helping children socially and emotionally. Please share your experiences and photos with us by email, or text us so we can be in tune with your children and help them through this new transition back to KidzWay.
We hope your child has fun with the “I Spy” sheets emailed to you last week, as their minds turn to the fun they will have at KidzWay and the friends and teachers they will reconnect with.
Do you feel that your child is ready to step up their KidzWay hours and days? Do you think your four-year-old would benefit from having more than three days at KidzWay per week? Have you realised that you’ve got a very busy few months coming up?
KidzWay has vacancies for all ages, both immediately and in the coming weeks; casual or permanent. Please contact Kath if you would like to discuss some options for your child. :)
Ngahere Explorers will be held on Tuesday mornings this term, when we move to Level 1. We will be in contact again once we have a confirmed start date.
A friendly reminder to let us know if your child will be absent from KidzWay. If you inform us before 9:00am, the morning/afternoon tea charge will be waived. Thank you.
We are all thankful that we can move to Level 2 now.
A big thank you to all our KidzWay families, along with the rest of NZ for your commitment to staying home with your children. In advance, thank you at Level 2 for staying safe and following the rules out there in the big wide world and at KidzWay too.
