KidzWay Christmas Concert 2024
WHEN: Wednesday 11 December at 1:30 pm
WHERE: West Otago Community Centre Theatre - followed by afternoon tea at the Church hall behind the theatre.
PLEASE BRING: A plate to share for afternoon tea in the church hall. Again, please be aware of food that may be a choking hazard.
We encourage children who do not attend on a Wednesday to join us to take part in the concert. Could these children please be dropped off at KidzWay by 1:15pm, so we can all walk up to the theatre as a group. Please note: If you notice that your child is not enjoying the stage experience, please pop down at any time and take your child back to your seat. Also, please feel free to exit the theatre to the lounge or outside with your child(ren) if they become restless and hinder others from hearing the performance.
A shared afternoon tea in the church hall will follow straight after the concert. Plates can be dropped off into the hall before the concert. Please come directly to the stage area after the concert to walk your child/ren to the church hall, where you can get them something to eat, as they sit on the blue tarpaulin. Tea and coffee will be served also. KidzWay will be open after the concert for you to collect your child(ren)’s bag and belongings. We look forward to seeing all of our KidzWay children there.
PLEASE NOTE WE WILL BE HAVING A FULL DRESS REHEARSAL ON TUESDAY 10TH DECEMBER @11am, WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF ALL 4-YEAR-OLDs COULD COME TO THE PRACTICE. Thank you!
Tapanui Christmas Float Parade: We are taking a break from putting a float in the parade this year! Keep an eye on the Blue Mountain Express for the date and time.
ERO Visit to KidzWay
The Education Review Office (ERO) has let us know that they will not be coming until next year now - sometime before March 2025. We will let you know of the exact dates in due course.
JOBS TO DO: Some light gardening around the Centre and a bit of building. Please Let Denise know if you can help out in any way. It would be nice to close the Centre up for 3 weeks looking tidy :)

Thank you parents for sun blocking your child’s face, neck, arms, legs and applying the stamp to your child's hand each morning. This helps us so much, time wise and to identify who has and hasn't got sun protection on.

Thanks to those who are ringing when their child is Absent.📞 Please let Manja know your holiday plans for when we reopen again on Monday 13 January 2025. Some teachers are taking extra leave and knowing numbers helps determine if we need to get relievers in. Thank you.

Monday 13 January: KidzWay re-opens for 2025 at 8.30am
